The Shuler Family Band is a true family band with three generations of musicians singing a blend of bluegrass, quartet gospel, sacred hymns, country-western and cowboy music.

Paul Shuler, the grandfather of the family, began traveling and singing with his wife Bonieta in 1962. After moving to Arizona in the mid ’80s they began singing and recording with numerous groups in the Phoenix area—most notably the Son Valley Singers and Harmony Breeze. Paul keeps the family laughing and, in addition to blending smooth leads and harmonies, he plays mandolin, guitar and banjo while Bonieta sings and plays guitar.

Paul’s son Colin (an ordained minister and pastor in The Church of God) moved with his wife Gerri and their six children to Arizona in 2003. He plays guitar and saxophone (occasionally) and sings bass while the lovely Gerri sings clear sweet leads and harmonies.

Jacob, Colin's eldest son, sings and plays guitar and mandolin while his younger brother Philip sings and plays the bass fiddle.

Lastly the three youngest Shulers—Sara, Megan and Thomas—regularly steal the show when they add their bright smiles and pure voices to make the Shulers a fun family musical ensemble.

The Shuler Family Band has been privileged to sing and minister at bluegrass festivals, churches, rallies, memorials, award banquets, dinners, birthday celebrations, RV resorts and golf tournaments throughout the Phoenix metro area.  We have also traveled to California, Idaho, New Mexico, Tennessee and Washington to share the good news of joy and salvation...and we thank God for every opportunity.
